Native Horsemanship Riding Center

Your help makes a big difference...

Our goal is to become financially self-sufficient in five years. In the meantime, we have needs where your help can make a difference.

We would like to build a covered and lighted arena, so that our riders can experience the program year-round. Currently, we cannot ride during wet weather or when the arena is muddy for safety reasons.

We would like to obtain a truck and horse trailer so that we will be able to drive to remote areas to offer satellite classes and trail riding. This will allow us to teach classes and support special needs children all over the Peninsula.

We would like to have a small contractor's building or similar structure in which we can set up an office. Currently, our staff and dedicated volunteers use their tables and couches as their workspace!

To go along with the office, a good computer and up-to-date software would be wonderful.

Our horses love support in the form of donations of hay and grain to keep them healthy and full.

And most importantly... Because many of our young riders and their families are low-income or face high health bills, donations and scholarships to keep these children riding are welcome and greatly appreciated.

You can support our program with NHRC merchandise, as well--please visit our CafePress store!

Please contact us if you can support our program in any way; we would love to hear from you.
